There is something so wonderful about classics. The perfect wardrobe, I think, should include a few statement pieces of course but be based on the things of great quality that will last forever. To me, the classics include the little black dress, leather boots, a trench, a fur collar, a pleated skirt, a grey t-shirt, and a fabulous leather bag. It's almost as if you could wear these pieces with a million other things, but if you happened to be running off in the middle of the night (with the dashing young gent who's been tossing pebbles at your window for the past three years) they would be the go-to pieces. I don't mind splurging a little bit on them because they're timeless. In fact, I'm debating going back to the little vintage shop mentioned below and nabbing a very 'timeless' cranberry/floral fifties skirt in the morning...
