Maybe it's crazy, but in my happily ever after people would speak for the sake of conversations rather than in an effort to hear themselves talk. It comes back to the idea of selfishness: Like anything, there is a line to cross and I think that thinking economically and thinking selfishly are two distinguishable things. How are we supposed to have meaningful conversations when people can simply, sign out of them when they're finished talking?
